Make music theory review engaging with this activity! Students will hunt for symbols, terms, or notes on the game board as you call them out—just like a musical “I Spy.”
How It Works:
Print and laminate the game board and key for repeated classroom use, or print individual copies for take-home or one-time play.
Use the calling key to guide the game. Call out each item one at a time.
Students search for each symbol or term and circle it when they find it. (Tip: Use dry erase markers on laminated boards for easy reuse!)
Keep going until all items on the key have been found!
